Nic Towers 30th Nov 1953 - 12th April 2011
Nic learnt to sail in his childhood and went on to be an active member of the Junior Offshore Group (JOG), sailing latterly in his Rob Humphries yacht, ZEST. He served as a committee member of JOG and as JOG's representative on the RORC Safety Committee.
Nic's working life included work for Hunting Engineering, Marconi Electronics, BAE Systems and latterly SELEX Sensors and Airborne Systems. As a result of his work he was respected by the defence and MOD scientific community
